Honey Mask

Honey has natural antibiotic and antibacterial properties, and helps cell regeneration, making it a great mask ingredient. Packed with healthy antioxidants, honey is very purifying for the skin.

These are a few of my favorite honey masks.

Honey, Plain and Simple

  • Honey
  • (Optional) essential oils

Honey alone makes a great face mask for purifying skin, and healing acne. Honey's antibiotic, antibacterial, and anti-fungal properties make it very effective at healing facial infections like acne and other impurities.

Spread a thin layer of honey all over a clean, dry face and let sit for about 30 minutes. Rinse clean with warm water.

Optional: add a few drops of essential oil to the honey before applying to your face to boost the healing process.

Cleansing, Healing Mask

  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 2 tsp Bentonite Clay
  • 2 tsp Water
  • (Optional) Essential Oils - recommended: Patchouli, Frankincense, or lavender.

Combine Honey and Bentonite clay thoroughly, mix in just enough water so it's easily spreadable. Optional: add a few drops of essential oil to further smooth the skin.

Apply to clean, dry face and let sit for 20 - 45 minutes.

This mask is for healing, and soothing the skin.

Gentle Pore Cleansing Honey Mask:

  • 1 T Honey
  • 1 T Aloe Vera Gel
  • 2 tsp Bentonite Clay
  • 2 tsp Activated Charcoal Powder

Combine honey and aloe until smooth, slowly stir in bentonite clay and charcoal powder until there are no lumps.

Apply to clean dry face, and let sit for 15 - 30 minutes. Wash clean with warm water.

Honey cleanses the skin and kills excess bacteria. Aloe Vera, moisturizes rejuvenates the skin. Bentonite Clay, also called healing clay, help promote cellular growth and regeneration. Activated Charcoal, draws dirt and oils out of your pores and lifts to the surface.

Its important to rinse your face thoroughly after using a drawing mask, because everything in your pores has been lifted to the surface, and it ready to be rinsed away.
